Presenting Li-Janne with the 2019 European Powerboat of the Year award, the judges of this prestigious prize described her as “a very special boat for very special clients”. We have to admit that we agree!
The 65S Long Range Li-Janne was custom-created for a yachting family who wished to ensure that their handicapped daughter never misses out on the fun at sea. Dedicated wheelchair access is one of many one-of-a-kind features on a yacht designed entirely around the client’s specifications. The aft sections of both side decks slide out to provide an entrance regardless of which way Li-Janne is docked. Gangways extend out and the wheelchair can be safely pushed onboard through special railing doors
A hydraulic lift in front of the wheelhouse is beautifully integrated so that only those who need to use it know the lift is there. On the deck below, behind an elegant sliding door, is a wheelchair-adapted cabin, totally tailored to the specific needs of the girl after whom the yacht is named. With triple-redundant hydraulics ensuring that her medical treatment is always assured, nothing is standard on Li-Janne.
Up to nine guests enjoy a yacht that also features twin engines for higher passage speeds, a Magnus Master stabilisation system, and a wheelhouse with giant curved windows offering panoramic views as the voyage unfolds. The CE Ocean Going certified Li-Janne is connected to our yard via the Steeler Digital Monitoring System. This ensures access to all systems should the need arise, a totally unique service for motoryachts in this size range.
This design is suitable for offshore and inland cruising in all climates. A fully foamed hull in combination with double insulated glass throughout the yacht gives you a virtually unlimited global sailing area.
